Half-timbered romanticism 1 on the Moselle

Charming small apartment on the high ground floor of a 460-year-old half-timbered house in the romantic Moselörtchen Karden. A fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with tub, 2 bedrooms and a courtyard for the evening glass of Mosel wine await hikers or cyclists in this cozy, bright and quiet apartment in the heart of the village. It is the ideal starting point for hikes in the surrounding mountains, e.g. to Eltz Castle or the Roman temple complex on Martberg... The space From the lovingly designed courtyard you can reach the 43 sqm apartment via a few steps. On the right is a larger bedroom with a 1.60 m wide French bed and a wardrobe. On the left you enter the small, cozy kitchen, which contains everything a vacationer's heart desires! (oven, microwave, coffee maker, oil, vinegar, spices, tea, coffee, games, travel guides and brochures). Behind it is the second, slightly smaller bedroom, also equipped with a French bed, 1.40 m wide, and a wardrobe. The bathroom is next to it, also to be entered from the kitchen. The apartment is pleasantly cool in summer, because the floors are tiled... We also have something for minor calamities: plasters, tissues and headache pills... Guest access There is a larger parking lot right down by the Moselle. For unloading, however, you can stop just in front of the house. There are also numerous parking spaces behind the train station (5 minutes' walk). Access to the apartment is via the courtyard entrance on the left side of the house. The two keys are in the key box at the main entrance to the left of the house. There is also the entrance to our apartment on the first floor, which we also use as a vacation apartment. Other things to note In the village there is a pharmacy, a bicycle rental, doctors and on the corner in front of the church a cafe-restaurant that has excellent cakes! Breakfast rolls are available at the gas station at the beginning of the village. Numerous restaurants, swimming spots and a marina are located in the opposite Treis. In Pommern, the next village towards Cochem, there is a very good restaurant and a magical patisserie!
