Ama Om's Homestay(Bhutanese Farm Stay )

Tucked away in the village of Jawana (which means the village beneath the cliff), about 20 min drive through a farm road from the main road near Punakha Dzong is a Bhutanese treasure called Aum Wangmo Homestay. The 5-acre farm has been in Aum Wangmo’s family for about 200 years, since her great-great-grandfather’s time. Well maintained, the farmhouse has been repaired, extended and renovated to house two modern toilets/bathrooms and five rooms to accommodate 10 tourists comfortably. Other things to note Aum Wangmo Home Stay arranges vehicle/Car facilities to pick up,drop and sight seeing to all parts of Bhutan, from Paro(International Airport) and Phuntsholing Town. The hiring charge for the vehicle is Rs3500-4000 (40$ to 45$) per day and since now as per the policy of government of Bhutan all tourist must have a guide so we do help in looking for a guide at @Rs2000($30)
