Ideal for a couple. Self-catering on the Midlands Meander, adjoining farm land with open lawn & sky. Set between Lions River & Curry's post. Secure & not too far off the N3 Highway (2,5 km's). One of 4 individual, well appointed cottages - each with own bathroom en suite, open plan lounge, dining, kitchen. Aloe cottage has King bed with option of 2 singles, Lavender Garden & Nguni have queensize beds. Bathroom has shower, basin, toilet. Sleeper couch & extra mattress available. The space Each cottage has an eclectic mix of furnishings and has a feeling of space and comfort. What makes these cottages unique is that you are surrounded by farmland and yet are in the heart of the Midlands Meander for unique shopping and abundant restaurants. You can choose to eat in or out or have take out or a braai on the veranda and enjoy the bushbuck, duiker & hare and big open sky. Guest access Each cottage is private and for your own use and comes with a patio and weber. The large lawn area is shared with 3 other cottages. Path is shared for a 15 - 20 minute walk through trees and veld grass. You can definitely expect to have privacy and your own space. Other things to note We are reliant on Eskom for power. This means that if there is a power failure the water pressure will be compromised thus affecting the gas water heating system. Each cottage does have an LED light and gas hob in the event of power failures and we are working on a gravity water system for the showers. Up time has been good lately - with very little disruption.
