The beautiful view is on the Amiata countryside and on the medieval village of Pereta: amazing and unchanged village dating back to 15th century. The climate is typically mediterranean: hot and dry in summer and with mild winters. It is the ideal place to practice sports during the whole year: hiking (Parco dell'Uccellina and Argentario) cycling and MBT (on the "strade del vino" wine trails) horse riding in one of the many equestrian centres by. Of course you can also organise cultural tours (Pitigliano, Magliano, old Etruscan cities), enological tours in one of the many vineyards (see "strade del vino") sunbathing on the Argentario long, sandy beaches (20 minutes by car from Pereta) and visit the thermal resorts of the famous Saturnia.
