It is in the countryside of Cadiz, a most interesting area of Andalusia. It consists of a living room-kitchen with access to garden. Rich in cultural influences such as its deep roots in Flamenco history & the fascinating architecture that includes the panoply of varied cultures which one would expect from the province whose capital is the oldest—continually habitated—of all Europe. I am Maribel, psychologist originally from Madrid (in another life) & now lover of the rhythms & bucolic beauty that I have found in this jolly area of Andalucia—I hope to be able to offer you a warm welcome soon! I have two cottages for rent on the same 2000m2 of garden & fruit trees where I live, 5 kilometres from town. Each one has a layout of 50m2 plus the second bedroom on a loft. The kitchens are fully equipped with cooking utensils & dishes as well as electric appliances (microwave, tea kettle, oven, fridge, iron etc). the loft bedroom offers two single beds in a room open to the kitchen/dining/sitting area. The bathroom is fully equipped including washing machine & bath with hydro massage. The main bedroom has a double bed, chest of drawers & a large closet. We provide towels & other toiletries as well as firewood proportionate to your length of stay. A large swimming pool (12 x 6 metres) is shared with me & any guests that might be staying in the other cottage. The cottages are private & charming with their thatched roofs but they also have excellent insulation that makes them easy to heat with no more than the wood stove in winter & are comfortable with no more than fans at the height of summer. The minimum reservation for two people is for two days with prices starting at 110€ for a week-end & 320€ for a week with decreasing rates for longer stays. Guest access The garden and pool are shared and open access only for guests and hosts. Availability grill. Parking space for each of the houses. Other things to note The hens are pecking loose in the garden, they are curious and will approach, if they are offered bread will take too much attachment. The kikiriquí rooster and the sounds of birds living on the roofs could be annoying for some people if their usual habitat is urban. It is not an area many mosquitoes or insects but is appropriate to protect the inside to avoid discomfort. Being field, it is likely to share the walls of the house with geckos.
