Borth Beautiful Beachside property, 4 bedrooms.

A beautiful, refurbished beachside house with 4 spacious downstairs bedrooms (2 ensuite), a bathroom and utility/shower room (onto beach). Upstairs is an open plan lounge/kitchen (fully equipped) with spectacular views to sea and across the Dyfi Valley, plus a TV room/snug. Borth has pubs, cafes, gift shops and convenience stores plus a boutique cinema. It has a train station, on the line from Birmingham/Shrewsbury. Fabulous for water sports and walking. Close to Aberystwyth (6 miles). The space The whole house is yours to enjoy, including the spectacular views out to sea from upstairs, with the house situated right on the beach. Stormy seas or beautiful sunsets the light fills the upstairs and the views create a peaceful place to relax. In the other directions you can see the beautiful Dyfi valley, plus the headland as you look south towards Aberystwyth. This is our holiday home that we want to share with others to support the village. We don’t run this as a business but can’t keep it all to ourselves, we hope others will enjoy! We welcome respectful guests who will help us keep the property in its pristine condition and we are pleased to have many guests who return for a second visit to enjoy the house, views and local area. We try to make you as comfortable and welcome as we can, providing all the basics such as tea, coffee plus toilet rolls, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets and washing powder! Please note, we include up to £10/day (averaged across your stay) for the cost of electricity but ask guests to cover any costs over that. This is ample for typical usage. Please be accurate when booking with the number of guests staying to ensure the price you are quoted is correct (additional charges apply for more than 6 guests). Guest access The house consists of a downstairs sleeping area and utility room with beach access, up stairs open plan living area and kitchen and TV/snug room plus the outside terrace area for sunbathing, enjoying sunsets or BBQs. We also have a table and benches on the beach at the back of the house and there is usually a ready made fire pit for beach fires in the evening. For guests with reduced mobility - please note there are 2 steps to the front door, the stairs to the living area are open tread (with a bannister), the sofas upstairs in the main living area are low and the sofa in the snug is normal height but has no arm rests. Families are welcome but please note the house is not set up for under 2s. We do have a travel cot, but there is no high chair, stair gate or children’s plates/cutlery. Plugs do not have socket covers and there are not child locks on cupboard doors. There are games in the snug with small parts that could be a choking hazard for young children. Please be aware of this when booking. Electric vehicle owners are welcome to charge their cars although we do not yet have a outdoor charging point. There are additional charges for the electricity used which can be calculated using the smart meter. Other things to note We have 2 kayaks at the back of the house that guests are welcome to use, along with wet suits and life jackets of varying sizes. Guests are advised that they use the kayaks at their own risk and we take no responsibility for this activity.
