This house has been designed to provide guests with a truly unique experience. Offering the perfect mix of fun, entertainment and relaxation, with a backdrop of unforgettable views. Equipped with more features than a luxury resort to keep the whole family entertained, the only challenge you will have is never wanting to leave. Escape the bustle of the city and enjoy the serenity and views overlooking Lake Moogerah, just over an hour’s drive from Brisbane or 1.5 hours from the Gold Coast. The space As you arrive at the house you will immediately feel the calm of this beautiful location, enjoying the quiet that nature has to offer. This beautifully finished house has been specifically designed with outdoor gatherings and entertaining in mind. Before entering the home, you will see the front entertaining area with a generous amount of seating, firepit, and plenty of outdoor dining both on the synthetic grass and huge front deck. Once inside you will walk through the open-plan living and indoor dining area and enjoy the fully appointed modern kitchen and huge bifold doors to make the most of your indoor-outdoor experience at mealtimes. With a 60" TV, DVD player, Wifi all included, you can watch all your favourites in peace if you have time after experiencing everything else this property has to offer. Including all the comforts you would desire such as reverse cycle air-conditioning, coffee maker and appliances, dishwasher, icemaker and cold-water features in the fridge, a 9kg washer and 6kg dryer. Activities are available to keep the whole family entertained with an outdoor playground and sand pit for our youngest guests, you also don’t want to rent this home without the added feature of the air-conditioned games clubhouse (clubhouse is an additional hire fee), fully equipped poker table, arcade games, full size air hockey and pool table and a huge 65" TV. The kids….. big and small will not let you live this down if you don’t hire the clubhouse! At night enjoy the stars that can’t be seen in the city while relaxing around the firepit, toasting marshmallows and telling stories, with seating for the whole family! This house is incredibly versatile and wheelchair friendly. The main house features four generously sized bedrooms available to sleep up to 11 people (and a child on a fold away) Bedroom 1 - 1 x King bed Bedroom 2 - 1 x Queen bed Bedroom 3 - 1 x Queen bed and a double bunk (double bottom, single up top) Bedroom 4 (Studio Room) - 1 x King Bed Clubhouse - Access, use of games and use of 3 x futons (we do not supply linen) there are sleeping bags available for those all night gaming sessions! And 1 porta cot for any room in the house. If you come to enjoy water sports on the lake, you can also reverse your wake ski boat up the driveway and it will fit under the 3.8m high x 9m wide carport. There is an original/V1 Tesla charging plug on site, if you have a newer Tesla you will need an adapter. Guest access You have access to the whole property, you will not share with any other guests. Other things to note Moogerah Lake House #3 is a part of a collection of what will soon total 6 holiday houses privately owned by the Moogerah Lake House Group. Perfect for larger group bookings, or for functions and weddings. Lake Moogerah has peaceful blue waters and is an ideal destination for swimming, camping, boating, water sports and reconnecting with nature. A popular location for boating enthusiast to go water skiing, jet skiing, canoeing and kayaking, but please note you will need a permit to fish which you can get from the caravan park where your access to the lake is found. The local area offers beautiful parklands and national parks to explore, with Mt Edward close by for hiking enthusiasts. Take a walk across the dam wall; at 219m long and 38m high it’s ideal for sighting turtles and other wildlife. There is a local cafe and general store close for any supplies you may need. Moogerah Lake Houses are situated in a very relaxed, carefree community. However we do have neighbours in close proximity, so we ask that you to consider your noise levels on weekdays beyond 10pm. Friday nights and weekends by around midnight please adjust your noise levels to suit the peaceful environment you’re in. Moogerah Lake Houses are in close proximity to bush-land, the lake and national park, so wildlife of all kinds, big and small are very common.
