A treasury of little pleasures like waking up to the chirping of birds, we invite you to explore the beauty that lies in countryside stillness. It is a traditional anti-earthquake house made up entirely of logs and mud and makes for a great place for artists to work, ponder, and inspire. The space Our home in Laida lies near the Chanon village and looks out at the forests all around. Situated near the Great Himalayan National Park, there are occasional sightings of distinctive birds and animals here. With small streams dispersed throughout the area, the region offers mini hiking treks and a delightful atmosphere. Laida is a small settlement full of traditional mountain huts. And since it is in an area isolated from the big towns and cities, the night skies in the village light up with hundreds of stars, making this location a must-visit for stargazers. Guest access Entire Property During your stay After a long career in Himachal Tourism, I abandoned the city life and moved to the small town of Laida. Now I host the house, inviting people to enjoy the simplicity and happiness the place holds. I am highly interactive and know the area inside out. Along with this, I am motivated to start my own business in the eco-tourism sector. Other things to note - This homestay is open for families with kids, groups, and couples. - Our standard check-in time is 1 PM and the standard check-out time is 11 AM. - We only accept a government ID as valid identification proof. No local IDs shall be accepted at the time of check-in. - Smoking and usage of alcohol and drugs is strictly banned inside the property. - We believe in self-help and do not provide luggage assistance or room services. - Food served will be home-cooked. Please inform the property about your food preferences (Veg/Non-Veg) prior to your arrival at the property, so that the arrangements can be accordingly made. - Any special request regarding food or facilities should be intimated well in advance. - Quiet Hours are from 10 PM to 6 AM. Do not play loud music or cause nuisance, as the place is located in a village area. Nature and surroundings should be respected and cared for. -All prices mentioned as default are for 2 pax only. -If the group behaviour is deemed unfit at the property, the Zostel Property Manager, upon subjective evaluation, retains the full right to take required action which may also result in an on-spot cancellation without refunds. -Extra Bedding is subject to availability. Please inform the property prior to your arrival to confirm the same. Cost of extra bedding - INR 500 per person.
