Converted Cotswold Milk Parlour
Cotswold Converted Milk Parlour
Description
This is a stylish restoration of a former milking parlour set in 10 acres. The accommodation comprises 2 large rooms including a gallery kitchen and bathroom. It is private and self-contained with its own garden. The site has horses, goats, rabbits and chickens and on the far side a No-Dig permaculture vegetable garden. It is set in a beautiful location in the Cotswolds with countryside on all sides yet within minutes of Minchinhampton with public footpaths running from the door. The space Guests will have their own self-contained space. The property has two large rooms and a bathroom with one being a kitchen diner and the other a bedroom. There is a private garden plus driveway with parking for a number of cars. Guest access Guests have private access to the whole Milk Parlour and its garden. They also have access via the driveway to the road and can park on the driveway just by the property and guests can come and go independently throughout their stay Other things to note The site has a small no-dig vegetable business on the opposite side of the field. Vegetables can be requested in advance or at any point during the stay. Riding and horse based sessions for children can also be arranged privately. We have spent time regenerating the site from the No Dig vegetable site and there is now an increasing abundance of small birds with swallows nesting in increasing numbers every summer and the land becoming more and more fertile. Our horses are involved in rewilding projects with Gloucesteshire Wildlife Trust. The land is surrounded by countryside and the sunsets are spectacular.
