Description
100 year old cottage which has been renovated over the last 4 years. Bright & spacious with a King Size bed. Hairdryer etc on request. Adults only due to rescue dogs.Room is in the oldest part of the house so it can be cold...heating works but it’s worth bringing a housecoat & slippers to keep warm in winter..Semi rural so a car is advisable. Nice walks & views all round. I have dogs, cats & horses. 😊 It can also be muddy here especially in wet weather or in winter..wet dog paws are likely 🤣 The space The Cottage is set in a lovely quiet place and there's a small car park at the front. I have 5 dogs (kennelled during the day) 7 cats (they are mostly outside) 2 horses, a donkey and 2 pet sheep. There is a An Activities centre at the end of the road. You will find details on google, Cluny Clays Activities, you can also get food and drink here. There is a retail park with a Sainsburys, Boots Pharmacy, Next and petrol station near by too. (5 minute drive). Theres a McDonald's and a KFC, Greggs and drive through Starbucks. You can drive to Edinburgh in 30 minutes or get the train from the station which is a 10 minute drive away. 30 minute drive from Edinburgh Airport.Birds of Prey Centre also at the end of the road. The beautiful St Andrew’s is a 25 minutes drive away. Can be muddy and mucky in the wet and winter months..so dry shoes or slippers are best for inside...summer is a sun trap 👌 Guest access WIFI is available now. During your stay I am working part time but you are welcome to make tea or coffee I will show you where everything is in the kitchen. Just ask if there’s anything you need 😀 As I’m from Edinburgh I am not 100% familiar with Fife, but now where some things are and will help where I can. Otherwise wise there’s Google 😜 Other things to note Edinburgh is a 30 minute drive away over the new Queensferry Crossing. Local train station will take you all over Fife and Edinburgh.
