It is nestled in between Lake Hollingsworth and Lake Morton and within walking distance to beautiful Florida Southern College. It has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms--perfect for families or couples visiting the area. Lakeland hosts the Sun 'n Fun Airshow every Spring. It's central geographical location between Orlando and Tampa give it perfect proximity to many Florida attractions and beaches. The space Jefferson House is known for its comfy homey appeal. The screened in front porch gives a lovely spot for relaxing or having meals. A barrel ceiling in the living room, breakfast nook, built ins, transom windows, footed bath tub and other architectural details give it unique character to admire. My personal favorite is the meditation garden in the back yard. It is a rejuvenating place to admire flowers have a quiet moment or dine al fresco. It has seating for 6 with umbrella for shade. Near by is a grill and bonfire area also fun for outdoor enjoyment. Guest access This is an entire home and yard. The kitchen is fully ready for preparing meals or enjoying take out. There is washer/dryer, dish washer, TV, WiFi, hair dryer, heated towel rails, iron & ironing board, and games. Other things to note Jefferson House was built in 1925, celebrating its centennial birthday and is on the historic registrar. Please be mindful of its age and give it extra TLC.
