Welcome to “The Loft” Enjoy this private, spacious, breezy, self contained space, nestled in a quiet cul-de-sac just minutes walk to Ballina’s main town center and shops. A close 5 minute drive to the Ballina/Byron Gateway airport, 15 minute drive to Lennox Head and Newrybar and just a 20-30 minute drive to Byron Bay. We’re a block away from the boat ramp so ideal for boat lovers and just minutes from North Creek cycle/walk way to Shaws Bay, lighthouse and Shelly beach. The space Contrary to its name, the Loft boasts natural light and space, immersed high on the second level of our private Ballina dwelling. You will have your own driveway which leads to your separate private entry into the loft. Soak up the coastal breeze or enjoy a late afternoon BBQ, whilst listening to the native birdlife on your very own L shaped balcony with day bed, lounge and massive 8 seater alfresco dining table. The Loft features a fully equipped kitchen complete with Smeg Lavazza coffee machine, toaster and kettle as well as all the cooking utensils and necessities you should require for both a short or long term stay. The Pantry is stocked with all your basics, containing but not limited to herbs and spices, sugar, breakfast condiments, paper towel, cling wrap, baking paper and foil, and some little sweet surprises. The bedroom is equipped with a reverse cycle air conditioner and ceiling fan and sleeps two people in, configured as a King bed for couples or can be separated for singles (please advise upon booking as to which configuration you require). The beds are adorned with quality linen and organic cottons from some of our favourite brands which will guarantee you get a good nights rest. *An additional bedroom with queen bed and ceiling fan is available upon request prior to booking only. Pricing for the additional room is based on number of guests more than the initial 2 and reflective when extra guests are entered. The bathroom will entice you to relax and unwind in the original claw foot bath after a busy day exploring the local beaches and hinterland. The open lounge overlooks the native trees where you can watch the beautiful bird life. Reverse cycle air conditioning will keep you both cool in the summer months and warm in the winter months and the TV is set up for full access to Netflix, Prime, Kayo and Wi fi for all your viewing needs. We are more than happy to accommodate babies and can happily set up a safety stair rail, cot and or small high/low chair if required. The only joining door to our residence is at the bottom of the stairs, which will remain locked at all times throughout your stay. We live below with our two children aged 12 and 9 in which during your stay you may hear some squeals of joy, although we always ensure to keep any noise to a minimal wherever possible. We are here should you need anything at all but respect your privacy and will not bother you unless you wish to interact. We love to host and aim to set the bar high for your stay and ensure you have a memorable experience here at Ballina Loft. Guest access The loft has its own driveway for parking, if you have more than one vehicle there is plenty of street parking in the cul-de-sac. We have a lock box so you can enter and exit as you please. A fully self contained kitchen with all pantry essentials is yours to enjoy throughout your stay. There is one bedroom which can be configured as a king for couples or two single beds for seperate travellers. Please advise your preference. *An additional bedroom with queen bed and ceiling fan can be provided should you require it, however this is only available via special request prior to booking. Please let us know if there is anything else you require for your stay, we’re here for you, should you need. Other things to note The back yard is for our own private use. We do have a pool and you may hear the kids having fun in there. Again we are always respectful and conscious of noise, however if you are here for a retreat without these kind of disturbances this is probably not for you, however if you would love to stay in a beautiful place that has been carefully curated for your needs, close to everything so you can get out and about and explore, this will be perfect.
