Log Cabin in Strathyre available on a weekly basis. 4 Berth A-Frame Swiss Style Log Cabin in the National Park (1 double and second bedroom with 2 singles). Wood Burning Stove. Full fire and CO alarms. Charming Village with Post Office, shop and Pub all within 3 minutes walk. Wonderful forest walks and fishing river literally 10 yards from the Cabin. One dog welcome, smokers not. Fast Fibre WiFi but poor mobile connections within the cabin however OK in the village. The space Cosy wooden walls all around. A real back to nature experience but with the comfort of electricity and a modern fitted kitchen. Technology like the Freeview TV and fast Wi-Fi will satisfy the kids but pull the plugs and you will be back to the pioneering days of the Canadian forests or Scottish Clansmen and Rob Roy. Guest access You will have the run of the whole Cabin with the exception of a couple of cupboards which house maintenance equipment. Other things to note Some guests have been surprised to find the bathroom is downstairs. A bit of a hassle if you have to go in the middle of the night but the emergency lighting status indicator provides a bit of light for the stairs. I'm afraid there is a limit of only one dog which should be kept on a lead in the grounds. Dogs are not allowed upstairs. Owners should bring suitable bedding for them and cleaning materials e.g. old towels for muddy paws. Registration details ST00601F
