The space The accommodation is ideal for couples in the quiet conservation streets of the town. Private access and private staircase lead to the stunning third floor with equally stunning views of the town and fells. Spacious double room, finished to a high standard gives a wonderful feel of light and space. Fully central heated throughout and heated towel rails in the en-suite. A separate galley kitchen with microwave, oven, hob, and fridge. Outside is garden and eating area. There is secure storage for bikes. Local golf course is nearby and host can advice on the numerous golf courses in the surrounding area. A five minute stroll into the town centre provides access to restaurants, cafes, cinema, shops, leisure centre with public pool and climbing wall. The historic city of Carlisle is a 20 minute drive, with Cathedral and Castle as is the popular town of Keswick and Derwent Water. Surrounding villages give access to a number of open air pools. Lake Ullswater is minutes away with steamers and various water sports available. Hiking in the fells or walks in the Eden Valley are on the doorstep. Guest access Free on street parking gives easy access to the accommodation. Private off road parking can be arranged if needed. Private entrance and staircase to the loft. Walking from the house gives access to Beacon Pike, a lovely woodland with phenomenal views of the fells. A stroll into town provides access to many amenities. Outside is garden and eating area. Access gate on the drive needs to be closed behind you to keep Jimi (the Westie ) off the road. Other things to note The host can give advice on hiking and walking as well as places to visit and eat and water sports and hire.
