Located in beautiful setting in a local village only a short drive to popular Hiriketiya beach. The space This house is located in a beautiful setting looking over a rice field. It is in a peaceful local village setting and is a short distance to Hiriketiya Beach, Dickwella and to quality bars and restaurants. Nearby is Smoke and Bitters, a top 50 Bar in Asia. The main bedroom is upstairs with a king size bed, its own bathroom with separate shower and bath, living space and balcony. Downstairs are two bedrooms, one with queen size bed and one with two single beds and a desk. There is a shared bathroom downstairs, and a modern open plan style living, dining and kitchen. Outside is a verandah, with a ceiling fan, to sit and read - or sip cocktails - while looking over the rice farm and lotus pond. There is also a large enclosed private garden area with a swimming pool, sun lounges and umbrella and an area for playing games such as badminton etc. There is a small gym with a cross trainer and some gym equipment for those that wish to keep fit! The house has air conditioners in the bedrooms and ceiling fans in all rooms. The village location means there are lots of local birds (peacocks, bee eaters and many others), monkeys and other animals. Guest access The whole house and pool is available for the exclusive use of guests. Only one guest booking is accepted at a time - the house and pool is for your exclusive use. Other things to note There is an automatic generator which switches on automatically when main power is out. The house is located approximately 10km from Tangalle and a few km from Hiriketiya and Dickwella. Tuk Tuk's can easily be arranged for local travel. Airport pick ups and day trips can also be arranged to many activities and attractions. Whale watching at Mirissa is only 40 minutes and Ude Walawe National Park is only 1 1/2 hours and Yala is also close enough for a day trip. Deep sea fishing with local fisherman can also be arranged.
