In a gated community, enjoy our resident cows, birds, horses & more! Private entrance to cottage, you can ask to bring your boat with trailer or horse trailer. Add'l unit available for large families. The cottage was completed in February 2020. Features refrigerator, microwave, full size sink. Queen size bed with a desk & 2 chairs that can double as a work space or dining area. Inflatable be is available upon request for your young child. Home is located in a private, gated community. Access information is provided prior to arrival. Parking is on site & private. Electronic gate offers privacy and easy access. We live on property and there is someone usually available to make stay pleasant. Located in a private community we are close to Homestead General Airport, Schnebly's Winery, Fruit & Spice Park & many more. Restaurants & shops are approximately 10 minutes driving distance. Near Homestead, Florida City, Keys, & Miami. No public transportation is available. Ride Share service will need access to community gate via code. WE ARE A WORKING FARM---We train & breed horses, so keeping with their meals & clean stalls requires that we start at sun up. We try to keep as quiet as possible, but it happens. Our reviews speak for themselves. We keep a very clean farm, but it does require equipment and man power to accomplish. On the flip-side, most days we turn in quite early. PETS--We know how difficult it is to travel and leave your furry babies behind so pets are allowed. However, for the safety of all the animals & guests, no aggressive breeds under any circumstances will be allowed. CLEANLINESS Travel is part of our family dynamics. Mostly for work and occasionally for business—I understand how it feels to be away from home. The one item that I find most important when away from home is cleanliness. As fears of spreading virus increases, we’d like to share the measures we take to keep our vacation cottage clean. Upon departing, all linens & towels are removed & washed with hot water & bleach (whites). All surfaces are wiped down with Clorox Spray Bleach including door handles & remotes. (This also includes, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, etc). We ask that guests wash the kitchen supplies left behind prior to their leave, however do a once over with hot water & bleach before they are put away. Because we are in a farm we pay special attention to dirt & dust and vacuum floors & baseboards with a Rainbow vacuum cleaner. (If you haven’t heard of them, well, you probably should look into them). Finally, floors are mopped & final details put in place to ensure you have a lovely vacation.
