The Old Cornish Farmhouse : Marhamchurch, Bude

A beautiful detached cottage within the grounds of the owners home. Nestled away in a quiet, rural setting you can enjoy a special, peaceful break! Just one mile from the village of Marhamchurch and a few minutes drive to the bustling town of Bude means you have close access to local shops and pubs. Bude's beautiful beaches and Widemouth Bay are all within three miles. The area is a walker's dream, with the South West Coast Path in walking distance, Bodmin Moor and Rough Tor close by. The space Two bedrooms one is a super king bed and the other can be made up as Super king or twin (see photos). Both bedrooms enjoy stunning views across the countryside and out towards the coast - binoculars provided in one of the bedrooms to make the most of what you can see. There is also a double sofa bed in the dining area so the house best sleeps four; but could add another two with a small supplement to cover laundry. Smart TV, modern furnishings, quiet garden, sonos music system and more all available for guests use. There's always a home baked cake, biscuits or scones along with tea, coffee, etc. to welcome you. There is an option for a slow cooked meal to be left ready for your arrival (price for this on request after booking). DOGS : We welcome one dog at Beeston Farmhouse, however we respectfully ask they do not go in the bedrooms or on the furniture (and must not sleep on the beds - see house rules). The garden is enclosed, but a determined escape artist may find a way through. Be aware we are surrounded by farmland with cattle so dogs should be supervised. Guest access Guests can enjoy the entire house plus a small, enclosed courtyard outside the kitchen door and the enclosed garden through the patio doors from the lounge. The house has its own parking space at the front with space for two cars. Other things to note We are surrounded by farm land and there is often cattle in the fields. Stunning night sky views away from town lights provides fantastic views of the milky way and the moon. We continue to practice additional cleaning and hygiene measures. All mattress and pillow protectors are cleaned between guests, and all duvets and pillows are "rested" for at least 4 days before being used again.
