Small Size Beach Bungalow Ground Floor Room

The Evergreen Bungalows are a small and chilled out beach bungalow hotel at the South East coast of Zanzibar. We took over the place in November 2018 and fullfilled our dream of living a beach. We are happy when our guests are happy. The Small Size Beach Bungalows at Evergreen Bungalows are a paradise for backpackers and nature lovers. From the balcony which oversees the Indian Ocean you can enjoy the view and just relax. Our own bar and restaurant offer a big choice of drinks and fresh food. The space Evergreen Bungalows is situated directly at the beach in Bwejuu. Here you find peace and tranquility. Every room has its own bathroom with hot shower. From the terrasse you have the perfect view over the white sands of Bwejuu beach and the Indian Ocean. If you feel like having some nightlife Paje is only 5 km far away. So you can party all night long if you would like to and come back to your piece of paradise to Evergreen Bungalows. Guest access You can use all hammocks and beach beds on our beach and enjoy drinks and food in our beach bar and Restaurant. In high season we also arrange every Tuesday Swahili BBQ nights with live music and a beach fire. When the wind is not so strong in the evening we are happy to make a beach fire for you. Feel free to enjoy, relax, swim, read, love, sing and dance. Evergreen is all about happy vibe. We hope that you come as a guest and leave as a friend! Other things to note We try to make your stay unforgettably awesome. So for sure we can arrange all the tours and transfers for you. You can also rent bikes and skooters at Evergreen Bungalows. Please be aware that the price is without breakfast. Breakfast you can order for 15.000 Shilling per person if you wish. Please be aware that the government implemented a new law starting July 1, 2023 which requires from the hotels to collect 2$ per person per night as infrastructure tax. You can pay the Infrastructure tax on site. Please do not take any food to the room. The windows of the rooms are open and animals like bushbabies, monkeys or insects are attracted to any kind of food, especially during night when you are sleeping. Don't worry, they will not harm you. Please also respect that we don't like to bring you your own food and beverage to our beach, bar or restaurant. Location: Bwejuu is a short taxidrive far away from Paje where you can find nice parties almost every day. Please ask us for party tips.
