20 Mile Cottage, Country Escape

Welcome to 20 Mile Cottage on the edge of the Turon Goldfields. Originally a 2 room miners cottage from around the end of the gold rush, the cottage now has open kitchen and living areas, slow combustion fireplace, A/C, lots of places to relax, read or work and 2 bedrooms. There are relaxing country views to enjoy and the cottage is shaded by old yellow box gum trees which cast a beautiful light in the afternoons and early mornings. Be verified to book instantly. The space The cottage is a great space with a open kitchen, dining, lounge area for family and friends to get together, there is a separate sun room with a second TV and a double sofa bed and a workspace if you need to escape. Suits a maximum of 7 humans of all ages. Outside you can walk in the garden, relax on the deck, BBQ or use the fire pit (Fire restrictions permitting), you can also walk to gullies and hills of 200 acres of farmland. Guest access You are able to use all the spaces immeadiately close to the cottage, if required there is parking for a self contained caravan if you need to meet up with your travelling friends or inlaws ! This is an operating farm so sheep yards and sheds are off limits. Other things to note This is a cottage on a working farm and there is 500 metres of dirt road to the cottage. The cottage itself is tidy and well finished but parts of the building are over 100 years old which adds to the charm of the property. Registration Details Exempt
