Secluded Chalet Style Log Cabin Lickey Hills Park

A self-contained secluded chalet style log cabin in the grounds of our house at the top of the Lickey Hills between Birmingham/Bromsgrove. Walk into the Lickey Hills Country Park. Easy access to Birmingham or Worcestershire/surrounding area. 3 rooms plus shower room and mezzanine ideal for a couple or family with up to 2 children(5yrs +) who want their own flexible space whilst staying in the area for pleasure or work. The cabin is well appointed and has a tv and good wifi. 2 adults maximum. The space This is a unique type of accommodation - surrounded by trees and private. A great place to unwind. The cabin has 3 rooms plus shower room and mezzanine and is ideal for a couple, or a small family party. The kitchenette has everything you'll need to prepare and enjoy food. There's an electric combination oven/microwave, twin ring hob, fridge/freezer, and all utensils. The master bedroom has a comfortable double bed so you're assured a sound nights sleep! The third room doubles as a living and dining area. For the agile there's also a mezzanine area with further sleeping. The required number of beds for your party will be made up ready for guests with cotton linen and towels provided. The layout is most suited to a couple or family with up to 2 children. The mezzanine sleeping is accessed by a ladder as shown in the photos-so is for the agile and responsible/can be safe going up and down a ladder. There's a shower room with electric shower and toilet. The cabin has it's own deck with room for outdoor dining or just to sit as the evening draws in. There is also a separate dining table and chairs with parasol and there is a gas barbecue for outdoor cooking if you wish. You can heat the cabin to the temperature of your choice with the efficient air source heating and log effect electric fire - it is well insulated and suitable all year round. Guest access The cabin is set at the bottom of a beautiful mature garden of around an acre, which you are welcome to enjoy - along with our resident ducks. You are in a secluded spot with easy access to the Lickey Hills Country Park just over the lane. There is ample parking and turning space. Other things to note We'd prefer advance notification rather than last minute booking please. For longer stays we generally provide a change of bedding weekly and can provide access to a washing machine and tumble dryer with notice.
