Pippins Cottage offers high-quality holiday accommodation for couples in the High Weald village of High Hurstwood which is in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty close to the Ashdown Forest. Pippins is one of two adjoining cottages, set in the grounds of the owner's house and surrounded by 12 acres of gardens which are a haven for birds and wildlife. Awarded a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence, it offers a relaxed holiday in which to truly unwind and get away from it all. The space Pippins is equipped and furnished to a very high standard, with almost everything you could need for a totally relaxed holiday. It has been converted by a local builder who took great care to retain many original features in order to create a warm and welcoming cottage. You enter Pippins through a door into a cosy sitting/dining room with comfortable seating, oak furniture, a 43” smart TV and an iPad/iPod dock. You will find games in the cupboard and plenty of books to choose from in the bookcase and tourist information and maps to help you plan your stay. There are two steps up to the kitchen which is a very light room with windows along the two outer walls. It is very well equipped with a good quality electric cooker, a microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine/dryer. There is a door that leads out to your own courtyard garden. Here you will find garden furniture, an umbrella and a Weber charcoal barbecue. The bedroom overlooks its own pretty, little garden which you can access through double doors. The bed is a super king-sized (6ft) pocket sprung, zip and link divan which can, if required, be divided into twin beds. There is also a small remote-controlled TV.
