The Apple Cottage is a beautiful, cozy two-bedroom, one-bathroom cottage situated on the original grounds of Bellingham Castle. Complete with a full kitchen and living room, guests have the ability to be in 'a world of their own' for as long as they like. Whether it's exploring our 70-acre mature parkland on a sunny day or snuggling up by the wood-burning stove in the winter, peace and tranquility are words to describe your stay at Bellingham Estate. The space Bellingham Estate is a historic country estate located in the village of Castlebellingham, Co. Louth which offers luxury accommodation and venue hire. Besides opening up our 70-acre estate for our residents to explore, we also offer fishing on the River Glyde which runs through our property. Owners, Des & Margot, welcome you to their home, rich with history and character, and encourage you to enjoy the private, unspoiled parkland setting, right in the backyard of Bellingham Castle! Guest access You will be free to explore the 70-acres of mature grounds, tree-lined avenues, and river walks. The estate is sometimes home to four-legged friends, such as sheep and cattle. Fishing is available upon request.
