Bamber Woods Hideaway

Guest suite has 1,800 square feet in the lower level of our home. Hosts live upstairs. A shared entryway leads into your own private space. There is a bathroom, bedroom, multiple common areas, and kitchenette. We are located at the edge of the city, close to downtown Mt. Pleasant and just minutes from CMU and the casino. While it is close to many attractions, the house feels tucked away into the woods. The back of the house has a wooded area and has great spaces to relax and unwind. The space Unbelievable value with over 1,800 square feet of private space. You won’t believe how much room there is until you see it. We furnish our space with the things that we have appreciated during our own travels. We hope that our space meets your needs and makes your trip even more enjoyable! CHECK IN: The space shares an entryway off the garage with the main house. Keypad is available at the entrance for self check in. No need to keep track of a key during your trip! One off-street parking space is available. Guests then enter the lower level suite complete with a private living room, dining area, kitchenette, three-quarter bathroom, and bedroom. BEDROOM: The bedroom is tucked away in the corner of the lower level. The space has a pillow top queen size bed. Electric blanket and fan are available for use. KITCHEN: Kitchenette has a full wet bar with a sink, mini fridge, Keurig (K-Cups provided), hot plate, microwave, dishwasher, table, and bar. An Instant Pot and other small appliances are also available for your use. A stove/oven is not available. LIVINGROOM: The living room has a huge projector with DishNetwork, Netflix, and more available. You can also sign in to your own subscriptions through the AppleTV. Two couches and several deluxe recliners are perfect to unwind after traveling or enjoying the city. Guests also have access to high-speed WiFi during their stay. BATHROOM: Enjoy privacy with a newly remodeled three-quarter bathroom. The bathroom is raised from the floor and therefore has a lower ceiling clearance compared to the rest of the space. The single standing shower may not be comfortable for guests taller than 6 feet. Soft towels, shampoo, and small toiletries are provided. Guest access A unique feature of the home is the expansive deck and outdoor grilling spaces. Guests have access to the backyard through the shared entryway. Come out and relax in the hammock and outdoor seating. Grill out on a Blackstone gas grill, wood fire grill, or built in smoker. Sit around the campfire and roast s’mores. Area is lit well and can be used during the day or evening. There are two storage rooms in the space that guests are not allowed access to. For the safety of us and the guests, we do have exterior security cameras. There are no security cameras within the living space. Other things to note Weekdays (Sun-Th): minimum 1 night stay Weekends (Fri-Sat): minimum 2 night stay As the space is in the lower level of the home, use of stairs will be required. This home is not suitable for individuals requiring barrier free access.
