Historic farm cottage in Coed y Brenin Forest

Our 17th Century self catering cottage is tucked away on the historic farm of Cefndeuddwr, in the heart of the stunning Coed y Brenin Forest Park. High on the ridge between two river valleys, the cottage has panoramic mountain views and blends modern comforts with historical charm. It provides a great location for exploring the Snowdonia National Park and is an ideal base for outdoor activities, family holidays or a quiet escape. The space Cefndeuddwr is a 30 acre smallholding that we share with our hens, ducks, sheep and cows. A two minute walk from the cottage takes you into the beautiful scenery of the forest park with its extensive trails for walking, mountain biking or running. Next to the cottage there is a secure storage shed for bikes and a drying space for your outdoor gear. A ten minute drive takes you to the historic town of Dolgellau and a further few miles takes you along the Mawddach estuary to the coastal towns of Barmouth or Harlech.
