Classic Sri Lankan Apartment

A large, light filled apartment with classic, Sri Lankan interior design, situated on the first floor of a family home. Recently refurbished, it features a few of our favourite local and Chinese antiques. It has private access and is separate from the ground floor. There are open living and dining areas, a fully equipped kitchen and three bedrooms. We live on the ground floor and are available at any time if you require anything. We hope it will be your home away from home. The space Living and dining areas These areas are spacious and open plan. Doors on either side of the living room can be opened for a cool breeze. There is no TV but plenty of books are available to be borrowed and wi-fi is available (the existing allowance should be sufficient but if higher allowance is required this can be obtained for an additional charge). Kitchen and dining areas Modern, fully-equipped kitchen with an adjoining dining area. Master Bedroom Fully air-conditioned with a queen sized bed and en-suite bathroom with hot water. Twin Room Twin beds, which can be combined to make a double bed. Ceiling and standing fans (no air conditioning). Third Bedroom A large, single, four poster bed. Ceiling and standing fans (no air conditioning). Furnished in classic Sri Lankan style. Family Bathroom Shared between the Twin Bedroom and the Third Bedroom, with hot water. The first floor is completely separate from the ground floor and can be locked from the inside. It would be a great space for families having an extended stay for family visits, school holidays, etc. or for families, couples or groups of friends who are making Colombo a stop on their trips around the island.
