The apartment is part of a 1900 vintage house with lots of character on a quiet residential street just two blocks from town center (in Ligonier town center is called "The Diamond"). Within 4 blocks are three good restaurants, two coffee shops, a fine Library, bowling alley, movie theater, and numerous quaint shops. All amenities are easy walking distance, and the town is exceptionally safe day and night. There are three public parks, and an elaborately equipped children's playground and tennis courts. The apartment manager lives just 2 blocks away, a young mother, she is mostly available if needed. French and Spanish is spoken by owners' wife. Fort Ligonier, is nationally reguarded as the best French and Indian War reconstruction and museum in the country. The Laurel Highlands abound with recreational activies, check the Ligoneir Website. A number of brochures are in the apartment for your information. Ligonier has only one traffic light, and driving within 15 miles in any direction, traffic is very light. The PA Turnpike Donegal exit is only 15 miles South, and interstate 70 about 20 miles Southwest. Room for a pack and play
