The Shelter Co. Shack - Luxury Cabin on the River

This turn of the century cabin is located in arguably the best neighborhood on the Russian River with direct river access via a seasonal dock and a neighborhood sandy beach. We fully renovated the cabin in 2018 and everything is thoughtfully curated and high end. It's the perfect vacation spot for families, groups of friends and company off sites. It is well stocked with everything you need for cooking, entertaining, and enjoying this beautiful part of Northern California. The space We have been using this house as a personal vacation home for 14 years and have fully dialed in the necessary amenities. Just bring your clothes and food and we will provide the rest. For beach and river enjoyment there is a paddle board, life jackets, beach chairs, towels, and a collection of sand toys. The bathrooms are stocked with toiletries, hair tools (blow dryers, flat irons, curling irons) and first aid kits. There is a baby crib and toys and books for children. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything a gourmet chef could want including a Wolf range. There is a bbq in the front yard and a propane fire pit on the back deck. The front yard is fully enclosed with a treehouse nestled in the redwoods for kids of all ages. There is an EV charger in the driveway. We are a pet friendly property and have a dog door in the kitchen that goes out to the fenced yard. The house is on two levels with two bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs with the main living area and kitchen, and two bedrooms with a bathroom and separate living room downstairs. The downstairs has a separate entrance that is only accessed by either the back deck or side stairs. Please note there are no internal stairs connecting the upstairs and downstairs and the ceilings are low in the downstairs level. We have so much love for this house and area and are excited to share it with you. Please note: dock is removed in the fall, usually in mid October, and returned in late May.
