'Coolalie' on the River

Coolalie is an exclusive property located on the Upper Macleay River 20 km’s west of Kempsey and sits just outside the historic town of Willawarrin. Our homestead looks over the Mighty Macleay River where the clear fresh water is abundant with the bronze battler - Australian Bass! as well as a huge variety of flora and fauna. The space For bass enthusiasts, we are halfway between Toorooka and Temagog bridges, so that’s half a day of solid fishing or a two hour leisurely paddle. If you are lucky you may even see a platypus. The property consists of 21 peaceful acres with a unique river frontage. We have a few friendly cows, calves and one very quiet bull that all love human company, and will always come over for a piece of bread or two and a head rub. Coolalie offers modern living with three comfortable bedrooms that sleep up to eight, two spacious outdoor entertaining decks that have the feeling you are standing over the river and include a TV, lounge, a table that seats eight, BBQ, heater and ceiling fans. The open plan dining, kitchen and lounge provide all the modern appliances including reverse-cycle air conditioning and a cozy fireplace for winter nights.
