2 BR Suite-1 Mile to Beach! The Perfect Getaway!

This is a private 2 bedroom suite in our home-only 1.2 miles from the beach. We have Boogie boards, Bikes, Beach chairs, Umbrella, Ice chest, Towels and Toys so you can enjoy the incredible beach! Sunset and morning coffee can be enjoyed on the balcony. 2 Kings or a King and 2 Twin XL beds can be arranged for your family or group! The family room has a kitchenette, sofa, tv and dinette/work space. Bike or drive to our famous beach, or take a day and head to one of the nearby theme parks! The space Come to World Famous "Surf City USA!" Huntington Beach has the most sand for your days at the beach and Firepits are all up and down the beach so that you can have the ultimate beach experience!! We are excited to provide a comfortable place for your entire family or group of friends to enjoy some time at the beach without any of the hassles! Note- we have two large dogs- Hobie, the Doodle and Rider, the Black Lab...They will bark to greet you each time you come to the door, but they are very friendly. Think of it as them shouting "Yeah! Friends are coming to visit!" If you do not like dogs, let us know, we will put up a gate so that they are away from the entrance. The dogs are not allowed in the AirBnb space. Our suite is about 800 square feet...after coming in our front door, a large staircase leads to the very private guest suite with two large bedrooms, a balcony, a nice bathroom and a very generously sized family room and kitchenette. The first bedroom has a King Size bed and walk in closet. The second bedroom can be arranged with either two XL Twin beds OR a King size bed to meet most family's/groups needs. We also have a toddler mattress and two pack and play cribs for little ones. If you have a 5th person in your party, we can also set up an airbed in the family room for you. The two bedrooms have access to our balcony, where you can relax and watch the sunset over the ocean, or enjoy your morning coffee. The Kitchenette area has a refrigerator with a freezer, a microwave, a coffeemaker and a toaster. Dishes, Flatware and other necessities are provided for your comfort. Each day, the hosts will take the dirty dishes away and provide clean dishes for your use. The TV is set up to stream Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney+, HBO Max and Direct TV streaming. To make your day at the beach and in the sand perfect, we have boogie boards, beach umbrellas, beach chairs, sand toys, a volleyball, an ice chest and towels available for our guests- all this so that you can enjoy a day at the beach, without having to bring any of the gear! Through special arrangement with Bob, you can reserve some beach cruisers for the day (We have several...even trailer bikes and baby seats for your youngest ocean explorers). We invite you to enjoy the fire pit in our backyard or use one of the hundreds of fire pits on the beach! We are located 1.2 miles from the sand of Huntington Beach, 4 miles from Newport Beach, 10 miles from Seal Beach, 15 miles from Laguna Beach, and 16 miles from Long Beach. For those interested in theme parks- Disneyland Resort is 11 miles, Knotts Berry Farm is 13 miles, Universal Studios is 39 miles and Legoland is 54 miles from our home. Please…no parties or smoking/vaping on our property. Guest access Guests are welcome into the main part of our home at anytime-but especially to pet dogs and visit with us! Our backyard is the peaceful destination for a little time around the fire pit or watching birds. A large grill is available for quests who like to bbq their meal. During your stay We love meeting our guests and helping them find their way around our great home and city! If you want to visit, come on downstairs. We are retirees and we are home much of the time. We have loved meeting our guests from around the world. Bob is an avid paddler and cyclist and can give pointers or talk story with the best of them. Karen loves her 4 grand babies and does mosaic art...so there's always something going on. We have 2 large dogs that stay downstairs...one is a 90lb Labrador Retriever and the other is a 65lb Double Doodle...they love meeting our guests!
