Praze Piggery on the Lizard - dogs welcome

Beautiful barn within gorgeous wooded countryside located only a short walk to the beach and coastal path. Our visitors are attracted to the South West Coastal Path - Kennack Sands, Lizard Point and Cadgwith are all within walking distance. We are dog friendly and there is a great field next to the Piggery for dogs to run around in. The space Praze Piggery is a beautiful bright Barn built in 2020 which has its own garden. There is a small kitchen with an oven and a fridge (with a freezer box) and a lovely breakfast bar for indoor meals. Household items are supplied and we have lovely coastal Cornishware crockery. There is a large sofa in the living room and a double bed in the main bedroom and a lovely bright shower room. There is BT broadband, TV and a DVD player for your use and a selection of books, DVD’s and games to play. The private garden is a great place to relax and there is a comfortable table and chairs to sit at and enjoy a glass of wine. The garden also has a fire pit - ideal for a BBQ or for keeping warm in summer evenings. Plentiful supply of free wood but please bring charcoal / firefighters for BBQs. Outside drier - very useful for those swimmers and wetsuits... Many of our guests are keen cyclists and there is a lockable, communal bike shed available to store your bikes. Guest access Guests should feel free to explore our 4 acres of grounds. Parking is located a few metres walk from the property along a gravel pathway. As there is no washing machine provided we can assist with washing and drying clothes if necessary. (Payable during stay). Other things to note Praze Piggery is located near to Praze Barn and both are in the grounds of our family home. Both Praze Piggery and Praze Barn have private gardens which do not overlook each other. Pets- we welcome one well behaved dog (surcharge for dog) but please contact us if you have two as we will consider it based on size / breed. No excessive barking please (as we have other guests to consider). When guests leave Praze Piggery the dog must be with you or left in a crate (only for short periods). Guests must pick up after their dogs. Guests will be held responsible for any damage done by their pet. There is a lovely large field outside the Piggery for dogs to run in. Access to Praze Piggery is from 16:00 but please feel free to park up earlier and use our car park as a base to explore on foot. Due to changeover cleaning, checkout needs to be by 10.00, however again please feel free to leave your car with us in our car park for the day if you would like to spend your last day in the local area. Sometimes later checkouts are possible - please message me to ask if you would like one and I can let you know. As we live in a rural location we would recommend arrival by 21:00 if you have not stayed with us before.
