Delightful two-room apartment just outside Rome near the station The space "La casetta di Vitinia", Via Sarsina, Rome Good morning, My apartment is ideal for those who want to stay close to Rome but want to stay out of the chaos of the city. In fact, it is located in Vitinia, a town that is just off the highway that surrounds Rome and is surrounded by pine forest and countryside; 800 meters from my apartment, however, there is a stop of the Rome-Lido train that leads to the majestic Basilica of San Paolo and Piramide Cestia in about ten minutes. From the "Piramide" stop, metro B takes you to the Circus Maximus and the Colosseum in a few minutes. In the opposite direction, the Rome-Lido train takes you a stone's throw from Ostia beach in twenty minutes. Vitinia is a cozy, residential town, populated largely by villas and houses with few floors like mine. In front of my apartment there is a good restaurant-pizzeria, and along the way you have all kinds of shops. Generally, parking is available, especially along a stretch of road that I can point out to you. My apartment covers a total area of 50 square meters and consists of a bedroom, bathroom, living room-kitchen and a small outdoor space of 10 square meters. In the bedroom there is a double bed, in the living room there is a sofa bed. To heat the house in winter there are two radiators, and to cool it in summer there is an air conditioner in the bedroom plus a portable fan in the living room. In the bedroom, there is a fairly large desk. We are very attentive to the reports of our guests, and we do not hesitate to intervene even in a structural way whenever something is pointed out to us. In May 2023, we completely renovated the bathroom and shower. In August 2024, to completely eliminate water splashes outside the shower, we had a box installed that covers the entire length of the shower. Since the beginning of 2023, we have activated an ADSL line that guarantees a Wi-Fi connection with an average download speed of 20 Mbps, and that is significantly better than the connection that was there before. The apartment is on the ground floor, has a kitchen with a lowered countertop and a floor-level shower with a seat; internally it therefore has a good level of accessibility both for those who move in a wheelchair and for those who walk with difficulty. However, there is a step at the door. We are at your disposal for any other information. Other things to note We are equipped so that you can enter the apartment independently, without our intervention: this guarantees a wide flexibility of check-in and check-out times. When possible, however, we are happy to welcome you in person. For check-in, I have not specified a specific time because it may vary depending on the circumstances. While it is always possible to leave your luggage in the apartment from noon, and sometimes even earlier, the apartment is generally ready for guests from 3 p.m. Sometimes it can be ready earlier, while on weekends it can happen that the time slips until 5:30 p.m. After 5:30 p.m., check-in is always possible, precisely because of the possibility of entering independently. If you have special check-in needs, I recommend that you let us know before booking, and we will do our best to accommodate you. To stay in the apartment, an identity document is sufficient (of your choice: identity card, including foreign, passport, driver's license) and no other type of certification will be required.
