The house is a large family home with 6 spacious bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 3 toilets, a beautiful south-facing terrace and a secure swimming pool. It has all the necessary amenities to accommodate you in the best possible conditions: living room with TV, Internet, Wi-Fi, board games, foosball... The exceptional view of the Monts du Forez and the Auvergne volcanoes will enchant you. The environment is quiet and conducive to rest. NO BOOKINGS FOR PARTIES The space This accommodation was refurbished while retaining its original charm. The bedding is comfortable. A new bedroom and 2 additional shower rooms have been created. You can also enjoy a beautiful, secure swimming pool (9x4m), with exceptional views of the Auvergne-Tuscany. A plancha is available for your summer meals on the large, south-facing terrace. The house is in the middle of a peaceful environment. The quality of the silence is conducive to rest, which is why we ask tenants not to be too loud outside the house, especially in the evening, because the noise carries far! There are many sites to visit within a few kilometers for lovers of beautiful stone buildings as well as unspoiled and wild nature. Hiking trails can be accessed from the house without using a car. The tower located at the top of the hill is a destination for a walk (from the entrance to the village) that offers an exceptional 360° panorama. We recommend visiting the villages of Sauxillanges 9 km away, St Quentin sur Sauxillanges, Egliseneuve des Liards, the hilltop villages of Usson (where Queen Margot remained in exile for 20 years), Montpeyroux with its sandstone houses, Nonette, Buron, Pignols, and many more! Also worth seeing: the Vallée des Saints in Boudes Not to mention the castles of Busséol, Parentignat, and Grangefort (the closest ones, because the list is long!) We look forward to welcoming you to our beautiful region! Guest access To get to the house, all the information will be sent to you by text message a few days before. Virginie, the owner's daughter, lives on the premises in the neighboring house and will be happy to welcome you. Check-in is from 2:00 PM and check-out is by 3:00 PM. The house on the hillside is both in the village (about 100 m from the church and the village square) and away from it, at the very end of a path, which means there is no car noise, only birdsong! Other things to note Parking spot The location of the house on the hillside involves some constraints to park the vehicles. Only one car is allowed to park next to the house. The others, once the luggage is unloaded, must be lowered and parked either in the path below or in the parking lot of the church square 100m away. Linens and towels are not provided. You can rent them (€20 per room for the stay, payable locally) or bring your own. THE ACCOMMODATION IS STRICTLY NON-SMOKING. The house continues to be regularly the venue for our family gatherings. We ask that you respect the personal belongings and food contained therein. Please also respect the neighbors' sleep (on site and across the street) and do not play music too loudly or make noise outside after 11 pm. A VIVAL grocery store is a 5-minute walk away in the village. It is open on Sunday mornings and also offers bread baked on site. There is a large market on Saturday morning in Issoire, 9 km away
