Only 2 hours from Paris by the A5 motorway and 3 hours from Lyon, less than an hour from the first Champagne estates, the house is ideal for family reunions and epicureans! Parties are strictly forbidden, the neighborhood is very quiet. The house is equipped with a private swimming pool (open from May to the end of September) and a 3-seater jacuzzi. Its ideal location will allow you to discover the riches of Burgundy and Champagne: the castles of Tanlay and Ancy-le-Franc, the abbeys of Pontigny and Fontenay, masterpieces of Burgundian art, old washhouses, churches, and the classified villages of the Tonnerrois. Everything contributes to seducing you, not to mention the famous vineyards, the warm welcome of the winegrowers and the famous gastronomy of the region: Chablis, Champagne, Cider route, renowned local cheeses: Soumaintrain, Brillat-Savarin... Swimming and fishing in the Armançon, walks and bike rides along the river and the Burgundy canal (3 minutes by bike from the house!), equestrian tourism, mountain biking... a multitude of activities are available to you! Golf in Tanlay (9 holes) and Chaource (18 holes). The house, facing south, is arranged in an L-shape. Our rates are based on a maximum of 11 people in 5 rooms: • On the ground floor, a large 50 m² living room with a charming fireplace (wood provided). The seating area is furnished with 3 large sofas and a Bluetooth speaker is at your disposal. • Large kitchen with a stove (5 gas burners, 3 electric ovens), a sink, an American fridge with ice dispenser, a dishwasher, a microwave. Filter coffee maker, Nespresso, kettle, toaster, etc. Full equipment for cooking and eating meals. We love to cook, so you should find everything you need if that's your case too ;-) American billiard room, vinyl turntable and Bluetooth system. One bedroom with queen-size bed, 3 bedrooms with double bed and one bedroom with a double bed and a single bed. 2 shower rooms + 1 bathroom, 3 toilets (the Queen-size room has its own shower room). Enclosed garden of about 5000 m², with swings, ping pong table, petanque court, large table and side tables, many garden seats, garden furniture and sunbathing. Charcoal barbecue. Swimming pool of 3 m by 7 m, depth 1.50 m, in service from May to the end of September. Parking for 4 cars. House equipped with a pellet stove, recent electric storage heaters and a wood fireplace. Free internet access – multiple Wi-Fi repeaters in the house. Internet TV. Unfortunately, pets are not allowed for allergy reasons and to preserve the comfort of all guests. The "usual" end-of-stay cleaning is included, as well as bed linen and towels, with beds made upon arrival. Kitchen cleaning is not included and must be done by you.
