The Garden Room is a cosy converted original brick outbuilding separate from the house providing privacy and tranquility in the small rural village of Fernham. An ideal base for exploring the beautiful surrounding countryside and historic towns and villages. Relax at this unique getaway only a short distance from the Uffington White Horse and town of Faringdon. A two minute stroll to the highly rated Woodman Inn or a short drive to many local pubs. NB Toilet and bathroom are in the house. The space The Garden Room is an original building constructed at the same time as the house around 1900. It has been carefully converted to retain original features such as the brick fireplace and is a cosy living space with a double bed, sofa, storage space and tea and coffee making facilities. The room is well insulated and has electric radiators and a wood burning stove to keep the room warm in colder months. The main house has a downstairs toilet which is easily accessed via the back door, a few steps from the Garden Room. There is a shared bathroom upstairs which contains a bath and overhead shower. Sorry, no dogs or other pets as we have our own! Guest access The Garden Room is located two miles from the A420 running between Oxford and Swindon. It takes approximately 20 minutes from Junction 15 of the M4 to drive to the property which is accessed via a gravelled 3m wide drive (fenced on either side). Parking is available immediately in front on the Garden Room window. Other things to note Wood burner a decorative feature with heating provided by radiators . Close to Cotswolds and approximately 30 minute drive to Jeremy Clarkson’s The Farmer’s Dog pub.
