Bright, Private, Comfortable Studio

This private, sunny studio/bedsit with a garden outlook is family friendly, self contained, self catering and safe. It is detached from the main house that is situated in a cul de sac in the quiet suburb of Chapman. It has its own private entrance. The space This bright studio in Chapman, a suburb of Canberra in the Woden/Weston Creek area of the Australian Capital Territory accommodates a couple comfortably. A trundle bed located under the double bed (see photo) is available for a third person (adult or child). PLEASE NOTE: Guests are free to pull the trundle from under the double bed, make it up with the bedding provided and return it under the double bed when leaving. Both beds have electric blankets. A cot is also available. There is a sparkling bathroom with shower and a complete small kitchen with bar fridge, hotplates, small oven and microwave, kettle, toaster, pots, pans, crockery, glasses, cutlery and cooking utensils. Towels, linen, basic toiletries, iron, ironing board and hairdryer are provided. Unlimited WiFi, a ‘Smart’ TV and DVD player, books, a selection of magazines, DVDs, maps and details of restaurants, activities and entertainment are in the studio. Self serve breakfast items include tea, coffee, cereal, condiments, milk and fruit. Bread and butter are provided if your stay is longer than two nights. Please feel free to request any breakfast items you prefer. There is a reverse cycle heating and cooling unit. A washing machine and dryer are available in the main house on request and at no charge. Parking is off the road. Guest access Guests have their own private entry via a path leading from the front of the house to the studio. Other things to note Check in time is after 2pm and checkout is before 11am but these times are flexible by arrangement. There are hand rails on the steps to the studio and grab rails in the shower and beside the toilet. A shower stool and walker are also available. A cot, suitable for babies and toddlers, is also available. A small dog, cats (enclosed in a cat park), chooks and fish complement the house hold. Pricing and additional charges: Airbnb provides guests with a breakdown of the total amount you pay. The ‘guest service fee’ is the amount paid by guests to Airbnb. It is not a fee paid to us. The ‘occupancy taxes’ set by the ACT government for short term occupation are collected by Airbnb. Airbnb then remits monies collected to the ACT government.
