Charming vacation home in Harbor Country, only 75 miles from Chicago. The cottage is less than a block from a wide, sandy private association beach where you can walk for miles, swim, or relax on the shore. It is perfectly situated to visit local farm stands, wineries, breweries, restaurants, & state parks. No smoking and no pets, please. Checkout our sister cottage next door - Morning Dove Cottage Guest access Orchard Beach Rules and Regulations: • The beaches neighboring our private beach to the North and to the South are private beaches and neither you nor anyone in your party may trespass onto those beaches. • There shall be no loud noises between 10pm EDT and 7am EDT per Chikaming Township, Berrien County, Michigan “Noise and Nuisance Ordinance”. • Please leave only your footprints on the beach! Anyone using Orchard Beach is required to remove any and all trash when leaving the beach. NO PERSONAL PROPERTY CAN BE LEFT ON THE BEACH OVERNIGHT. • No glass bottles or containers are permitted on the beach at any time. There is no smoking on the beach. From September 15th to April 15th smoking will be allowed, but only if there are no other persons on the Beach. During this period smokers are responsible to clean up their cigarette or cigar butts. • Beach fires are permitted in one of the two fire pit rings provided for this purpose ONLY provided that appropriate warning and fire restrictions issued by the Chikaming Township are complied with. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES move the fire pit rings. • Fireworks of any type are not permitted at any time within the confines of Orchard Beach subdivision or on the beach itself. Police will be called when violations are heard and observed.
