The well appointed annexe apartment has its own entrance, parking outside and is self contained with king size bedroom, sitting room, kitchenette (please read below) and bathroom with a bath and separate shower. With glorious views across the fields to see horses, sheep and cattle grazing in the fields beyond. This annexe is quiet, comfortable and secluded, with tea and coffee provisions provided. For off-season minimum 4 night week-day stays, please contact Amanda for a more favourable rate The space With a dining table and compact kitchenette (comprising toaster, kettle, under counter fridge with freezer compartment, two ring induction hob, combi/microwave oven, washing machine). It is easy to prepare simple meals. The bedroom and sitting area are divided by a partition wall to the first beam. As a result there is an airy feel. There is a Flat screen TV in the sitting room. The bathroom has a bath with shower hose attachment and a compact separate shower cubicle. With a comfortable sofa, armchair and underfloor heating throughout it is a wonderful space open to the eaves in what was the old dairy. With a wealth of character it is a relaxing space to enjoy. Wifi is available and we are on gigaclear. (Please note and see photos regarding the wall division between the bedroom and sitting room which goes to the beam not to the top of the roof between the two rooms) Guest access The annexe is sole use for the duration of guests' stay. Parking is alongside the annexe building for one vehicle. Please notify us in advance if more than one vehicle will be arriving. Other things to note Being our family home, but with your own driveway occasionally shared with other guests staying in the other annexe bedroom, this is a secluded spot in a rural area with horses and cattle, grazing in the fields beyond. This is our family home and we do have dogs, ducks, hens, horses and our pig - Margo who is definitely our family pet! Please ask in advance if wanting to bring a dog, as there is a small extra charge and terms & conditions will apply to pets. Please note as this is an old grade 2 listed barn with great character, the annexe being housed in what was the old dairy with exposed treated original beams and walls, insects will visit, especially when doors and windows are left open. Whilst we make every effort to clean just before your arrival, sometimes the room preparation is done the day before. With horses over the wall and free range hens and ducks around the pond, please note there is no specific fenced area to let your dog roam free in our garden. We ask that your dog is under your complete control at all times. We thank you for your consideration.
