☼ Cottage for big groups, nature is calling ♥

Cottage "ROVTARICA" - translated: "hillbilly woman" A true hillbilly woman she is. Living in the middle of apline-karst plateau, on a 1089 m of altitude, disconnected from telephone or internet connection, inviting you to come and reconnect with the surrounded nature and your loved ones underneath the starry sky. ♥ Welcome all living beings. ♥ The space Rovtarica takes up to 19 people. It is located 18 km away from the first village - Bohinjska Bistrica - where is also first market with food. This is 30 minute drive, with a couple of kilometers of a bumpy unpaved road. Bohinj and Bled lake are both accessible within 45 min car drive. Surrounding area is offering some interesting biking and hiking trails and the backyard is sometimes visited by deers, foxes.... or shepherds cows. :) Forest is full of edible mushrooms and berries. Suitable for closed groups, family vacation or also for team-building, workshops, seminars, events and celebrations, picnics... Big common place for evening fun around the fireplace and wood stove in the kitchen, perfect for big group cooking. The high altitude on which the cottage is situated is perfect for hot summer days. The temperature is around 8 degrees Celsius lower, so bring some comfortable warm sweater. Water is drinkable from all pipes, and it comes from the nearby spring. That is the freshest you can get. :) Electricity runs on solar energy, with a backup diesel generator. Central heating and hot water is arranged on wood burning furnace in the basement. There is no public transportation to the location. The cottage is accessible with a standard car, but is on the last part (8 km) unpaved. Most of the autochthonous animals are present in the near forests of Jelovica, which can be seen with a little luck from the balcony or from the warmth of the cottage in the big clearing which spreads around it. Flora is also very diverse. ------------ Guest access You have the whole place for yourself, big two-floor cottage and even bigger area around to explore the nature. Top floor is reserved for sleeping, and first floor to do any activities, cooking, dancing, singing, whatever you come up with :) Pets are also allowed, but unfortunately not in the beds. Equipment is basic. Kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, pots, cups,.. Beds have only pillows and quilts. You can bring sleeping bags or your own bed lining. This could also be arranged by us, but only with beforehand notice and additional cost (10€ per bed (lining and towels)). Other things to note !!! IMPORTANT: For the safety of the property and people, experience with making fire indoor in a furnace is a must! The whole house central heating is working on furnace in the basement, which is also heating the water for showers. Due to uncomfortable experience with some guests in the past, we ask you to please consider about booking our cottage, if you do not have experience with making a fire. Thank you for understanding! ----------------------- We have beds, available for 19 people. The nightly price shown on the calendar is for 10 people. Every extra person pays additional 12€. Unfortunately here on Airbnb, it is not possible to choose more than 16 guests. Please indicate in your email after booking, if there is more than 16 guests. The only thing not included in the price is tourist tax and bed linens by choise. This is paid at the check-in. People over 18 years old: 2.5€/per day (24h) People from 7 to 18 years old: 1.5€/per day (24h) Children from 0 to 7 years old: free of charge.
