Quiet cottage in old village near the sea

Cottage is placed in old town Krmpote, about 2km from the shore, in the lovely mountain area. From its idyllic setting in a small old village, a complete coastal panorama can be enjoyed from this substantial holiday home. As well as the stunning sea views, position of cottage is ideal for outdoor activities such as cycling, hitchiking, observing wildlife... Beautifully appointed and very well-equipped, it is approached by a town street. Towns Senj and Novi Vinodolski are only 10 min. drive. There are magnificent views northwards to town Rijeka, Novi Vinodolski, westwards to island Krk, and southwards to town Senj. As well as the stunning sea views, position of cottage is ideal for outdoor activities such as cycling, hitchiking, observing wildlife... Beautifully appointed and very well-equipped, it is approached by a town street. Since it is old village, cottage can be reached by car but private parking space for 3 cars is located 50 m from the house. Terrace area in front of the house leads to tavern and first floor with outside stairs. Terrace has an old well (in function), climbing plants, lavander and rosemary bush. It is equipped with table, 4-6 seats, classical charcoal grill and big sunscreen. Cottage was completely renovated in 2010. It has three storeys. First one is the tavern which is kept in its original stonewall design. Tavern space is used as living room, kitchen and dining area with en-suite bathroom. First floor is also old part of the house, completly renovated with decking on floors and hard plaster walls. It is connected with room on the second floor by stairs. Two storeys have shared bathroom on first floor which is equiped with shower, toillet, sink and washing machine. Second floor is divided to two spaces - reading room and bedroom/living room with exit to terrace with amazing seaside view which spreads all the way to mount Učka and island Cres. Equipment: The kitchen is equipped with oven and ceramic hob with four burners. There is a hood, a fridge / freezer, a coffee machine, toaster and a kettle. In addition, of course, sufficient crockery and cutlery and all necessary cooking utensils. The adjoining living area has a large wodden dining table with two chairs and two benches (~6 seats). Furthermore, a three-seater sofa that can be opened when needed to a sofa bed. There is a HD TV with satellite antena and radio. First floor bedroom is furnished with a double bed and bunk bed, wardrobe and night stands. Second floor room is furnished with three-seater sofa that can be opened when needed to a sofa bed and with small wardrobe. It also has HD TV with satelitte antena and radio. It has exit to terrace and from it you have a wonderful view of stunning landscape and Adriatic Sea. Free Wi-FI The Service: All beds come with two sets of linens. Towels are provided. Own clothes can be washed in first floor bathroom. If anything is needed be free to call the owners who will try to make your stay enjoyable and comfortable. Guest access You are using the whole cottage, we will not be present but for any emergencies we have a nearby neighbour who will be at your service. If you need to contact us for any problems or recommendations we are reachable 24/7 on Viber, WhatsApp or e-mail. During your stay The owners speak fluent English and Croatian, and have middle knowledge of French and German. They are not on the spot, but if necessary they are reachable at any time by telephone (Viber, WhatsApp) or e-mail. Other things to note According to the Croatian Law on the Residence Tax, guest pays the Residence Tax when paying for their accommodation. The Residence Tax is defined by the law and it is 1€ per person per day for adults. Children from the age of 12 to 18 have a 50% discount, while children under the age of 12 are exempt from paying. The final amount of the Residence Tax will be calculated when you make a reservation and you can pay it with cash when you arrive to the house.
