Cloudy Bay Villa is located on a gentle rise over Whalebone Point on secluded south Bruny Island, offering some of the best views in Tasmania. This spectacular two-story house offers visitors a unique experience. The outlook from Cloudy Bay Villa stretches a full 180 degrees; even from downstairs; encompassing the distant cliffs of East and West Cloudy Head being smashed by the savage Southern Ocean. Sailing south from here there is nothing but ocean until you reach Antarctica. The space The view takes in the spectacular beaches of Cloudy Bay; an easy five-minute walk; with straight sets of perfect surf rolling onto the shore. On the beach here you can walk for hours: east to Cloudy Corner or west to Conley's Point and the beautiful Cloudy Bay Lagoon. The serenity is almost spiritual; there is every chance you won't see another person; just birdlife and the occasional whale. This beach house is light, cosy, comfortable and welcoming, perfect for families, couples or small groups. The view: both upstairs and downstairs is spectacular, with multiple living areas and a sheltered outdoor deck on the first floor. The open, well-appointed modern kitchen looks out to a large dining and living area with a huge dining table. This is the place for long dinners, sharing stories about the day's adventures, and the opportunity to relax afterwards in the leather couches in front of the gas log fire. There are three comfortably appointed bedrooms, with queen beds, their own ensuite bathrooms and the very best linen. Throughout the Villa, timber lining and natural finishes fit with the serenity of the local surroundings. There is an outdoor dining setting at the front, making the most of the ocean view and the rolling, open grassland leading down to the beach. There is room here for outdoor activities; or even just reading to the sound of the surf. The Villa is located more than 30 minutes from the nearest store, so it is recommended visitors bring their own provisions to make the most of the beautiful setting.
