The space St Helens is the largest town on Tasmania's east coast and just a few kilometres away from Binalong Bay and the southern end of the beautiful beaches of the Bay of Fires, one of Lonely Planet's top 10 regions in the world. It is the perfect peaceful place to unwind, explore, walk, fish, read, or just relax and enjoy. The house is exceptionally comfortable for short or longer stays and is perfect for a family or even two families wanting a great holiday with something for everyone. Accommodating up to 10 guests, the master bedroom has a queen size bed and generous ensuite. The bed is fitted with an electric blanket and luxurious linen. Bedroom two also contains a queen bed with electric blanket and luxurious linen. The remaining two bedrooms each contain a bunk bed plus trundle beds, accommodating up to 3 people per room. The spacious main bathroom has both shower and bath tub. The sun filled living room and dining room with its large dining table is a wonderful gathering place for lazy lunches, to enjoy a great meal, good wine and maybe cards or a board game. The well-equipped kitchen has everything you'll need for your stay, including a modern generously sized fridge, microwave and upright stove and oven combination. Modern washer and dryer, outdoor clothes lines, iron and ironing board provide all your laundry needs. The comfortable lounge room invites you to enjoy the cosy atmosphere of the house. In cooler weather the reverse cycle heat pump will keep everyone cosy while in summer providing a cool haven. The modern TV gives you access to local and national digital TV reception. A separate “Games Room” with table tennis table, dart board and Xbox console with games will keep kids busy for hours. Outside under the all weather, covered patio area is a barbeque provided for guest use, and offers a perfect place to eat, relax, have a quiet drink, and enjoy the gardens. Directly opposite the house is the entrance to the famous Peron Dunes and the vast beach which attracts surfers and beach lovers alike. A short, 10 minute drive takes you into St Helens town centre, where you will find everything you could need including cafes, restaurants, supermarkets, butcher, bakeries, newsagent, liquor store, pharmacy and more. The house includes undercover off street parking , a fully fenced large back yard with enough room for your boat, allowing guests to make the most of the fantastic fishing typical of the area, and discover the exceptional views, beaches and walks that abound. Most importantly there is plenty to see and so from surfing, bushwalking and mountain biking to snorkelling, diving and fishing. For the foodie, there is Pyengana Cheese Factory only a 35 minute drive away, Priory Ridge vineyard is also a short drive away at only 20 minutes. For sweeping vistas of the breathtaking Bay of Fires, The Gardens is a beautiful 30 minute scenic drive.
