'Ange Bleu' is a 150m2 beach house with African charm and European comfort built 2010 in the fishing village Popenguine. Situated directly on the beach and a 5 minute stroll away from the village center. The house is divided in two parts separated by a Moroccan-style courtyard. It is always rented to one party even if the back house ist not occupied. The space The house has approx. 180m2 indoor and shady patios space. The dining table which comfortably fits 10 people is situated on the front patio with view onto the sea. The house is separated into two parts with a garden and patio separating the two houses. The front house contains 2 double bedrooms, 1 bathroom, living room and the kitchen. The back house 1 double bedroom and 1 bathroom. A wall surrounds the two houses to ensure privacy. The owner may at times be present in the apartment on the first floor. A part from the door to the garden no other spaces will be shared when owner is present. Guest access The guardian will meet you and show you how to access the house. Other things to note Please note the following: WIFI: available in the front part of the house TV: the TV has Senegalese channels with evening news in French. A Canal Plus option can be purchased by guests for €10/week. Please note that the climate and temperatures can vary. The main bedroom facing the beach has air conditioning. All other rooms have two fans in each room. Usually the sea breeze is enough to stay fresh but Senegal can get very warm. For travels who are not used to or do not appreciate hot climates, we suggest to refrain from visiting Senegal in the rainy season between July and October. The common practice in Senegal is that the personnel eats with the hosts if the meal is prepared by the cook. You can of course choose to eat alone.
