Stunning barn conversion - the heart of the Broads
Description
The Hayloft is a recent (2021) stunning eco barn conversion in the popular village of Ludham in the heart of the Norfolk Broads. This ground floor apartment is full of character and in an ideal position to explore the surrounding countryside and the beautiful sandy beaches of the Norfolk coast. Miles of footpaths and bridleways start on your doorstep. The remains of St Benet's Abbey are one mile from your front door and the banks of the river Thurne half a mile. Perfect for two but sleeps four. The space The Hayloft is converted to be wheelchair friendly. It is a spacious yet cosy space to come and unwind. You have your own enclosed courtyard garden and parking space. There is underfloor heating throughout with individual room thermostats for each space. The heating and hot water all come from an air source heat pump which is powered sustainably by solar panels and a house battery. This means that from April to October The Hayloft is virtually 100% self powered! In the main bedroom is a king size double bed. One of the sofas in the lounge area converts into a substantial double bed. Bedding will be provided according to the number of guests staying. If you are a wheelchair user or have accessibility requirements please tell us in advance and we will make one or two adjustments to make your stay more comfortable. The washing machine is located in the large under stair cupboard accessed through the bathroom. A vacuum cleaner and various other cleaning items are also stored there. Guest access You will be able to drive into the farmyard (not a working farm) to your own parking space. You have your own garden gate to the courtyard. Cross the patio to the entrance door. There will be a key in the key safe. Other things to note Please read the house manual in the information folder to get the most out of your stay.
