Liberty Villa on lake Como, up to 11 people!

Accomodation in this genuine old Liberty Villa built in 1910 in the most spectacular area of Como Lake, is in two separate flats surrounded by a lovely garden, where you can relax and kids can play. And lots of flowers and big trees, magnolia, olea fragrans, typical of the lake, calycantus in the garden. The upper flat has a great view onto the lake, the lower flat direct access to the garden, Lake and a boat rental are just 50 m away as a public park. A parking area is also available for free The space Accomodation is in two of the flats of the Villa. The bigger flat is on the 2nd floor with two main bedrooms mainly furnished with original pieces of furniture with all their charm. The wide kitchen, with a big table sitting 6 to 8 people, is quite recent, and includes a big fridge, an oven, a microwave and a dishwasher. There is also a fireplace, (only for the winter season!!). The kitchen is fully furnished with cutlery, dishes, coffee machine, toaster, kettle, champagne and wine and water glasses, and if anything is missing you just only have to call me and I will make sure you have it straight away. The bathroom is also new, with shower and bathtub, and also the famous Italian often unknown violin shaped "tool" called "the bidet". And the house is sunbathed from early morning till sunset! The other flat is at the garden level, and it's made of a bedroom with a nice big Queen size bed, a lounge, a kitchenette and a bathroom equipped with a bath tube and shower (and bidet, of course) Guest access You are more than welcome to enjoy the garden, where you can sunbath, read a book, make your planning for the visits - there are garden tables and benches and chairs available for you - or drink a glass of (Italian) wine or a beer... and if it gets dark, don't worry, there is a lighting system all around the garden, so you can stay out till late night. Or you may enjoy the house, or come with me to visit the surroundings Other things to note There are so many things to do! Try and go to see if George Clooney is around, he stays some 10 km from the house, pay visit to the splendid Villas in the near villages: Villa Balbianello in Lenno, Villa Carlotta in Tremezzo, Villa Melzi in Bellagio, Villa Monastero in Varenna, all with fantastic gardens, and statues, and paintings, and all with regular shows - ballets, music, art exhibitions. Or take a trip on the lake: if you have your own boat you will enjoy a lot; otherwise you can rent a boat at Abbate's or just board one of the public service bus boats and you will explore interesting spots and see so much - buy a one day ticket and off you go! If you like swimming there is a lovely beach just 1 km away, or there are Lidos with sand and bars and swimming pools all very close to the house. And there is a golf course just 6 km away, and a minigolf in Menaggio, and if you go to the upper part of the lake you can go windsurfing or paragliding or kitesurfing...
