Welcome to our charming chalet right on the ski slopes. Our family chalet is a cosy authentic house built more than 100 years ago located in a typical village in the heart of Haute Savoie. In winter time you are next to a child friendly ski area. Mont Saxonnex is a small family ski resort. Ski facilities are within walking distance (5 minutes by ski) or directly in front of the chalet. The house is also a lovely place to stay in the summer to go hiking, get a tan and relax. The space Our family chalet is a cosy authentic house situated in the fields next to an authentic village in the heart of Haute Savoie. Within 5 minutes walk there is Mont Saxonnex with its restaurants, bakery, butcher's and local shop . The chalet is very quiet and safe with children. In winter time you can ski and enjoy a beautiful landscape. Saxonnex is a small family ski resort. Ski facilities are within walking distance (5 minutes by ski). If you want you are not far from Flaine Avoriaz, Megève ,Chamonix(50 km). In the village there is a spa and a sportscenter. In summer time you can chill out in the garden with a view on the mountains. You can go hiking or cyclying. Everything is in front of our doorstep. Lake Benit is an hour walk from the chalet. There is a ski lift in summer you can take with your bike and enjoy mountain biking. Either in summer or winter there is so much to do From a choice of lots of beautiful sceneries down by Lake Geneva, outdoor pools in the mountains, stunning walks to suit all levels, road biking is very popular and this is great place to base yourself, VTT/ mountain biking. The wild flowers are spectacular in early summer and the mountain walks are stunning. Switzerland is half an hour drive away. The chalet is very quiet and safe with children. Guest access You can come by mortorway A43. You leave the motorway at Cluses and then you go to Scionzier and up to Mont Saxonnex. You are not far from Geneva airport (50 km). You can rent a car at the airport. If you come by train you can stop in Clese and then come by taxi . Other things to note Mont-Saxonnex is a small family ski resort, ideal for children and beginners. You can see the children's ski lift from the chalet window. Lift prices are very affordable, from €12 to €16. You can watch the children skiing from the chalet. Baby ski pass 6€. You are 100 m from the ESF. It's a good base from which to explore the other ski resorts in the area. You are close to the major resorts such as Flaine, Avoriaz, Le Grand Bornand, Chamonix, Les Carroz and Les Gets.
