Fabulous 50m2 apartment on ground floor for 6 max. Great views from balcony across to slopes. Open plan living/dining area with 1 sofa bed Functional kitchen with dishwasher, hob, microwave & fridge freezer. Master bedroom with king bed. Bedroom 2 with 1 double bed with single bunkbed over it. Bathroom with sink, w.c. & bath with shower over. Shower with sink, w.c. & shower. Ski locker. Tennis court & boules. Near ski pass office, lifts, restaurants, ski rental, groceries & paid parking. The space We have decorated the apartment as our home so there are lots of quirky touches like the artwork & old skis & skates. We have tried to provide all the little extras that you need for true luxury. The bedding is all 100% cotton with duck feather pillows & duvets. Also there are also a few anti allergy sets in the cupboards should you need them. In the bathrooms there are big fluffy towels & warming towel rails. Also some complementary toiletries. Hairdryer, iron & board are provided. There are 2 TV's & a DVD player in the living room & master bedroom. The kitchen has all the basics with dishwasher, hob, microwave, fridge freezer, kettle, coffee machine & toaster. Also basics that are often missing in self catering like tea, coffee, sugar, condiments etc. This apartment has its own ski locker on the ground floor. There are 2 local car parks (both charge) 1 is covered & under the building & 1 is open air. Surrounding the apartments are a number of bars & restaurants & a supermarket. Attached to the apartments is a ski rental shop. Across road is ski lift pass office. Guest access The apartment is in the Pierre & Vacances building. Direct access to the apartment via key code box next to door. No need to queue at P&V reception. Other things to note We think this is one of the greatest ski areas in the world. Directly opposite is a ski pass office. Next to it are 3 routes up the mountain with the funicular, NEW gondola & chair lift. These give amazing skiing to Val D'Isere & Tignes joint area. At the top of the run back to the apartment is the world famous La Folie Doche bar for great apres ski. In the summer the area is truly beautiful. Lots of wildlife can be spotted on the slope directly behind the apartment such as golden eagles, Marmots and Chamois. There is a free tennis court & boules area for use by residents. Mountain biking in Val d'Isere & neighbouring Tignes is FREE! You'll get access to around 150km of trails across the two biking areas. You'll still need to collect a hands free pass, which are available from the Lift Pass office in the centre of town. There's a pump track & dirt jumps in the Manchet Valley that you could try out.
