Five Bells Cottage is a grade two 17th Century Cotswold stone cottage. The cottage has just been renovated to a very high standard. Set in a row of attractive cottages on a quiet lane and directly opposite the handsome Norman Church. We have all the little luxuries of a boutique hotel: comfortable beds, powerful showers and a stylish interior. Just a short stroll is the famous Kings head. Bledington is a quintessential and unspoilt cotswolds village with a village green and a babbling brook. The space 10% discount for a week booking. The cottage is a 17th century village house with lots of original features; light and airy with higher than usual beamed ceilings and is filled with light. There are three double bedrooms all with en suite shower / bathrooms. There is free parking on the lane outside the Cottage. There is a lovely quiet and totally enclosed sunny walled rear garden, which has a table and chairs for eating and drinking and a brick built BBQ. We offer a welcome pack to get you started which includes: A bottle of Fizz, Milk, Tea, Coffee pods, Eggs, Artisan Bread, Biscuits and Butter. There is a steep staircase to the King size bedroom. There is plenty of parking on the quiet lane just outside the cottage. Right on the Oxfordshire way, Five Bells is the perfect place to explore the rolling Cotswolds on foot. Walks to Kingham, Churchill and Nether Wescote all lead to fabulous pubs. A walk to Daylesford Organic farm and shop is a lovely thing to do. Other things to note We have just finished a 7 month total inside and out and top to bottom renovation / extension and upgrade. The house now has 3 double bedrooms all with luxury en suites with underfloor heating. We have installed secondary hot water so that you always have instant hot water on tap. There is a cleaview log burner in the sitting room and another clearview log burner in the Hall / snug. Thre is a downstairs loo, utility room with a sink and a newly extended high quality bespoke painted wooden kitchen with an electric Aga. The new integrated fridge freezer has an ice maker (essential we think!) There is a breakfast bar at the new island and a newly created dinning area with a table and chairs which seats 6 people comfortably. The kitchen / dining room, which has underfloor heating, has french doors overlooking the newly landscaped garden. In the garden there is a Barlow Tyrie table and chairs for 6 people. We can arrange for a private chef to cater for you. We welcome one well behaved Dog or by prior arrangement. We require a £250 fully returnable damage deposit which will be due as a direct payment before your stay.
