It is in a 1906 Victorian home on the Razorback Greenway, just a block away from the beautiful downtown Bentonville square, quaint shops, fine restaurants, coffee shops, 21C Art Hotel, art galleries, movie theater, concert venues, pubs, splash park, and a grocery store. Crystal Bridges is a one mile walk or bike ride away on a trail which runs thirty-six miles from Bella Vista to Fayetteville. You will be staying in a suite in a Victorian house built in 1906. It has a queen sized bed, a dining area, a kitchen area (with a microwave, Keurig, drip coffee maker, toaster, refrigerator, dishes, silverware, pots and pans), a smart TV, a bathroom with a shower, and a private deck. The deck has seating for four. It is fully shaded by evergreens, and English ivy is working on covering the rails. You will have direct private access to your room from the deck. You can lock you bikes to the deck rails or bring them in the house. Free parking is available either by parallel parking in front of the house or by parking in a free public parking lot next door. This is a great location for people coming in to visit the Walmart Home Office, which is 1.2 miles away with no major roads to cross. Bicycle enthusiasts love this location. Lots of trails to explore during the day, and lots of night life to enjoy just a block away. The Razorback Greenway is a 36 mile paved bike/walking trail that runs by the house. Many dirt trail systems are accessed from the Greenway. Slaughter Pen dirt trails start two blocks north of the house. Looking to ride off-road but stay in the city? Slaughter Pen is the ideal urban off-road bike park. You get clean flow, major downhills and plenty of berms. Blowing Springs is an eight mile ride north from the house. Vast bluff faces and streams trickling down the rocks are just a few of the highlights you’ll encounter on the six-mile Blowing Springs Loop. Coler Mountain Bike Preserve is 3.3 miles northwest from the house. Coler provides a singular experience where cyclists can get a taste of almost every type of trail the region offers, nestled within its 300 acres. The preserve is a tranquil environment to feel revitalized and where each person, regardless of age or ability, can participate in active recreation. Many other bicycle adventures are a short drive from the house. The suite is completely cut off from the rest of the house. You will not see or hear from your host unless you have a need. But, please feel free to phone or text any time. The house is on the Razorback Greenway, which is a paved bike trail 36.7 miles long from Bella Vista Lake (Bella Vista) to Town Branch Trail south of Walker Park (Fayetteville). You can walk or bike ride about a mile to Crystal Bridges Musieum of American Art and 1.2 miles to Amazium, a children's museum. The ride north to Bella Vista Lake is 5.3 miles one way, completely off road, through beautiful forests and along a stream. There are also miles and miles of dirt trails through the woods in Bentonville. The dirt trails start two blocks north of the house. There are also several bmx parks. The best biking in the country is in Northwest Arkansas. There is a bike shop three blocks from the house where you can rent bikes or get air and repairs. The Bentonville Square, one block away, has many fine dining options, as well as an ice cream parlor, a coffee shop and lots of food trucks. There are several music venues, pubs, art galleries, and a movie theater. There is a splash park for kids two blocks away (ice skating rink in the winter) and a playground one block away. There is a grocery store on the square. Bring your bike or rent one from Phat Tire, walk or call an Uber or taxi. Feel free to sit in the chairs under the maple tree and on the front porch.
