Stay like a local in a beautifully renovated, old family house in the serene traditional village of Latsida, a gem yet unspoiled by tourism. Enjoy your morning coffee or afternoon raki relaxing on the house’s sunny terrace with stunning views to the valley of Neapoli, the nearby town. Mingle with the locals in the local “kafeneio”, or gather with your friends around the carved-stone fireplace οn a winter night. The space Fully renovated village-house that extends in two levels. There are two bedrooms with adjoining bathrooms with shower, one on the ground floor with one double bed, and a second one on the first floor with one double and one single bed, accessible through the first-floor roomy terrace. Both bedrooms have separate access from the street, which is very convenient when two couples are staying in. There is a living room on the ground floor with a sitting area with a couch that can be opened-up to an additional double bed if required, a fully equipped kitchen, a dining table and a beautiful fireplace. The room is decorated with local traditional furniture and original folk-art items collected by the owner’s family. The nearby small town of Neapoli is within walking distance or 5 minutes by car. Although the village lies between low-rise mountains covered with olive trees and Mediterranean shrubs, the nearest beach of Milatos is just a 15-minute drive, or you can choose to visit the cosmopolitan beaches of Elounda (20min) and the town of Agios Nikolaos (15min). Malia, a village famous for it's beaches, it's nightlife and it's antiquities is also a 15-minute drive. The city of Iraklio and the ancient palace of Knossos are 50-minutes away by car.
