The Concert Hall, shops and restaurants of Perth are just a few minutes' walk away. The house was built in 1797 during the reign of George III when Perth was leading the way in Scottish architecture. It was completely restored to its former glory in 2012 and now contains all modern conveniences, whilst still retaining many original period features. For more energetic activities, have a game of pool or table tennis. The large fitted kitchen leads directly into the dining room with ample seating for 12. The mature garden is fully enclosed. We found Atholl Place in the spring of 2011. The house had been empty for a little over two years, had been poorly maintained and had fallen into disrepair. But the building was magnificent with many original features still present and the location was amazing. How often do you find a 4,500 townhouse within a few minutes walk of all the shops and restaurants but with views of a park and the river? It took almost a year to complete the renovation. We have brought it up to 21st century standards but with a very sympathetic view to how it looked in the past. Where we could, we have repaired the period features and we have used period styles and furniture throughout. We hope you like the result! The master bedroom has a separate dressing room leading onto a stunning en-suite bathroom with claw foot bath and walk-in shower. Other things to note If you don't plan on going out, practice your pool or table tennis in one of the two games rooms or just sit and relax - there are plenty of areas in the house to choose from.
